    Men’s health falls under two categories, mental health and physical health. There are three main issues that men face: Suicide, Prostate Cancer and Testicular Cancer. In this article we hope to help guide and advise you through these issues.

    When you think of an addiction, what do you think of? Drugs? Alcohol? Whilst these two substances are both very capable of being a path to addiction, they are not the only addictions. Addiction can be defined as a dependency or unhealthy obsession.

    Whilst we all can appreciate and enjoy a sit down to play some video games, this can very easily become problematic when taken to the extreme, and with the amount of time people spend on devices this problem is on the rise.

    Bridging Gap, an independent mental health peer support organisation and Healthwatch Wigan and Leigh have come together to develop a Mental Health Lived Experience Forum.

    People with eating disorders use food to cope with difficult situations or feelings. This can include limiting the amount of food eaten, eating very large quantities of food at once and much more. In this article we're going to take a look into ED's.

    This report captures the voices and experiences of people across the Wigan Borough who are accessing services at their General Practice (GP). We engaged with over 300 residents to hear how practices are continuing to interact with them.

    The Care Quality Commission has told Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust to make urgent improvements in the safety of community-based mental health services for adults of working age following an inspection of two teams in April.

    Dentists who set up practice in areas of England with poor access to NHS care will be offered a £20,000 bonus.

    The government has also announced higher payments for dentists who take on new patients and teeth-cleaning in schools as part of a plan to expand levels of dental care.

    and inclusion of public opinion is embedded into service design.

    We are reviewing adult ADHD services across Greater Manchester.

    Services supporting adults through diagnosis for ADHD have long waiting lists, approximately 15,000 people. This means that an adult who is referred now could wait over 7 years for a diagnosis. Since 2019 the number of referrals into adult ADHD services have increased 500%, this means on average these services receive 1,500 referrals a month.
