Wigan Council and its partners are undertaking a review of community-based domestic abuse support services and safe accommodation provision, to inform the recommissioning of a new service contract.
They are seeking feedback from professionals, partners, service providers, community organisations, and people with knowledge or experience of domestic abuse services. Your views will help us understand what is working well, identify gaps in provision, and shape future service requirements to ensure support is safe, accessible, responsive, and effective for all victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
The information gathered through this consultation will be used to inform:
- Service design and specification development.
- Future commissioning priorities.
- Performance and outcome requirements.
- Accessibility and inclusion considerations.
- Partnership working arrangements.

In-Person Engagement Sessions
In addition to completing the consultation questionnaire, we are also offering the opportunity to attend an in-person stakeholder engagement session to discuss domestic abuse service provision in more detail and contribute directly to the recommissioning process.
