Resident (junior) doctors across England will take industrial action from 7am on Monday 15 June until 7am on Friday 19 June.
Patient safety remains our priority across Greater Manchester. Emergency and urgent care services will continue, although some routine appointments and procedures may be postponed. If your appointment is affected, you will be contacted directly; otherwise, please attend as planned.
The NHS has well-established plans in place to manage industrial action and ensure urgent and emergency care remains available for those who need it most.
You can help by using 999 only for life-threatening emergencies, accessing NHS 111 for urgent advice, contacting your GP or pharmacy for minor health concerns, and ordering repeat prescriptions in good time.
