Support for students receiving exam results - Kooth
Whilst receiving your A-level, BTEC or GCSE results can be an exciting and rewarding time, you or your child may also find Results Day to be upsetting, confusing, or stressful. If you're feeling lost during these times, Kooth is here for you.
What is Kooth?
Kooth is an online service for young people aged 11-18 for mental health and emotional well-being support. Some of the free and confidential services they offer include:
- A live chat function so young people can contact a qualified counsellor
- Scheduled and drop-in counselling sessions available all year round (including evenings and weekends)
- Chat forums with other young people
- Crisis information
- Self-help resources
As well as being a great source of support and advice all year round, Kooth is a fantastic place to find help with you mental health and emotional well-being when you're taking exams or receiving exam results.
