The first forum will take place on Wednesday 6th April 2022 between 6pm and 8pm on Microsoft Teams.
The Forum is open to anyone over 18 years of age living in the Wigan Borough who have experienced mental health issues.

This forum will offer the opportunity to listen and give people a voice by opening up conversations about mental health and emotional wellbeing by gathering people’s experiences and providing a platform so their stories can be heard.

The aim is :

•             To provide opportunities for people to network, share information, knowledge and experiences and obtain support

•             To keep members up to date on latest developments in the transformation and delivery of mental health services

•             To provide updates to members from representatives of key strategic partners

•             To inform the strategic direction of statutory agencies and future service plans in mental health

•             To influence future planning of mental health services and service delivery

•             To develop stronger partnership working with the statutory sector

•             The public sector organisations will approach this forum for representation in the future
