Children and young people's ADHD Survey From NHS GM

NHS GM have published a survey about children's ADHD, find it and some information below.

NHS GM has published a new survey, lasting until 29 November 2024, it will collect feedback about ADHD treatment including long wait times. The biggest priority is to improve how cases are prioritised, and making sure that children and young people who are most in need, get help quickly - however this can only come to fruition with your help.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a common condition in children and young people that makes it hard for them to focus, sit still, and control their actions or behaviour. ADHD is part of a group of neurodevelopmental disorders – things that affect how our brain works.  Other neurodevelopmental disorders include Autism Spectrum Disorders (often called autism, Aspergers, etc) and speech and language conditions.

You can join a lived experience group too. There will be two groups. One for parents, carers and professionals and another for children themselves. The engagement of the groups is expected to last around 10-12 weeks. Contact gmhscp.engagement@nhs.net for more information and to register your interest.
