Healthwatch visited The Princes Trust today in Groundworks - We had a fun time, gave out a few flyers brought along Charlie, our very own Princes Trust veteran!

A little late, but here's a brief recap of Healthwatch attending the Wigan 10k on August 31st, 2024.

Healthwatch visited the family hub at The Meadows today, attending their session on drug and alcohol abuse, misuse and general information, leaving with some new insights and some new pamphlets for the shelf.

Last week Healthwatch ran down to Norley Hall Community Center to help out in their refurbishment, only to find... a great time!

Healthwatch welcomed it's youngest volunteers yet the other day, at age of 1 and 4, we're breaking the mold and supporting the youth - Athena and Ava.

With NHS premises in a dire state and a repair backlog growing, we have analyzed people's experiences of the NHS estate, including hospitals, A&E waiting rooms, and parking facilities.

The cost of living remains a barrier to health, particularly for people on low incomes, and those requiring dental care.

Volunteers have a key part to play in helping us speak to as many people as possible within the Wigan Borough. Our volunteers are a vital part of our organisation, they bring valuable skills and knowledge to Healthwatch Wigan and Leigh.
